Perfect!

I previously purchased the RCX/GT limbs and considered this riser for them. I should have purchased the riser then. However, I have it now and it is the perfect riser for these limbs. The bow is very accurate and I was shooting great groups immediately. Braced to 8” the bow is very quiet.

Best Limb's for the $$$

These limbs perform exceptionally well for the price. They're light, relatively quiet, and very well built. I put a set of mediums which were rated 42@26" on a 15" VPA riser. Bolted down, they scaled ~41# which is pretty close! The build craft on these is excellent and I'd put them up against way higher end limbs such as Borders. For my custom limbs, it took about 3 weeks from ordering to getting them on my bow. Excellent customer service. Remember, there is like a 14 hour time difference, so be patient! Buy with confidence.

Carbon longbow limbs are the secret ingredient to an outstanding longbow

I got a nice set of Bosen LCS 45# xl longbow limbs (used) and mounted them on a 21" laminate ILF riser. The combination of a rounded shelf, good grip, heavy riser, and light carbon limbs makes my bow shoot the same 500 gr arrows 8 fps faster than a custom-made standard longbow of the same draw weight with fiberglass limbs. It also has zero hand shock! Wonderful stability and accuracy. Since the 45# limbs are rated at 28" draw on a 17" riser, on the 21" riser they make a 68" bow with a draw weight of 40# @28" or 42 # @29". I own many different bows, but this one is my favorite for traditional archery.
